Metros walk all over Cape Cod, 3:0

The MetroStars defeated the Cape Cod Crusaders (PDL), 3-0, in an exhibition game on Saturday night at the campus of Christian Brothers Academy Stadium in the Albany suburb of Colonie, New York.
Newly acquired striker and midfielder Mamadou Diallo and Andy Williams together scored three goals in the win. The MetroStars fielded their entire first team with the addition of several reserve team members enabling head coach Octavio Zambrano to observe the progress of the reserve team members in play.
Senegal native Mamadou Diallo opened the scoring in the 13th minute on a penalty kick. Joe Addo sent a cross into the box to Diallo that was deflected by a Crusaders hand ball. The Senegal striker then took the penalty kick and scored with a low power shot to the right corner of the goal.
Diallo recorded the second goal in the 38th minute when he took a pass from Andy Williams and his footwork led him past three Crusaders defenders and in for the goal.
Andy Williams put the game away in the 59th minute with a high shot just out of the goalkeeper's reach. The assist came from a cross by Sam Forko.
