Gideon Baah out for the year
March 7, 2017
MLS finally has roster clarity, creating detailed pages on its website for each club. There, each player's roster status is broken down among various designations. One of the interesting findings, not revealed by the club, that Gideon Baah is placed on the season ending injury list. Baah fractured his left tibia in July of last year.
Newly-minted Sporting Director Denis Hamlett followed with a statement, "We have made the decision that we think is best. This lets him focus on rehab with our medical staff. Our primary goal is making sure he has the time and resources to return to 100% health."
The number of international slots has finally been revealed: Metro has nine, with the extra one acquired permanently from Houston in 2009. Due to Baah's injury status, one slot is currently open.
Also, draft pick Zeiko Lewis, who signed with MLS before the draft, has been loaned to the USL, assumingly RBNY II.
