According to the official Twitter account of Atletico Nacional, Carlos Rivas is headed to Colombia for a medical for a possible loan, with an accompanying picture of him in an airport. Colombian press reports that it's a year loan with an option to buy.

Rivas has scored two goals for Metro, both in the regular season opener against Portland. He has seen his playing time greatly reduced in recent months.

Update: Atletico Nacional announced the transfer. "I am happy to have this great opportunity and I want to make the most of it. I know I can contribute in the attack," said Rivas.
