Mathias Jorgensen loaned back to Denmark
December 8, 2020

Mathias Jorgensen, if not the worst signing in team history, then possibly the worst purchase, is heading home. The scoreless Danish striker has been loaned back to AGF in his home country. It's a six month loan with an option to buy.

"I am very much looking forward to starting in Aarhus. AGF is a huge club with great traditions, and there is a great passion for football in Aarhus, which I look forward to," Jorgensen told the club's official website. "I traveled as a boy and come home as a man. I have undergone a great development in my time in the United States. Has become more mature and has gained a lot of experience."

Good luck, Mathias. It might work out in a league with slower-thinking defenders...
