Reid, 21, has spent the last four years at the University of Connecticut, where he appeared in 51 matches and recorded three goals and seven assists. During his junior season, Reid scored three goals and tallied five assists in 16 appearances. This past season, the defender made 13 appearances and tallied one assist.
"Jayden has previous experience with our Academy and knows our style of play," said Head Coach Gerhard Struber. "We are excited to see what he can do during preseason and continue to help him develop."
Reid spent five years in Red Bulls Academy, where he started with the U-12's. The Elmont, NY native becomes the 29th homegrown signing in franchise history and the fourth during this calendar year. Reid becomes the sixth New York native to be on the 2023 roster.
