New York Red Bulls II fell to New York City FC II by a score of 3-1 at Belson Stadium.
New York City took the lead in the 5th minute of the match, as Piero Elias finished a cross from Francesco DiPonzio. NYCFC II doubled their lead in the 23rd minute on a Jonathan Jimenez goal that was assisted by Jack Beer.
Just three minutes later, Frank Ssebuufu put Red Bulls II on the board after finishing a ball played in by Ibrahim Kasule.
Elias grabbed his second goal of the match in the 84th minute to seal the match from the penalty spot.
