New York Red Bulls II defeated FC Cincinnati 2, 3-1 on Sunday, June 25 at MSU Soccer Park.

The home side opened the scoring less than 30 seconds into the match. Copeland Berkley placed a cross from the near side of the field into the box that was immediately headed into the back of the net by Frank Ssebuufu. The goal was the second-fastest in club history at 28 seconds.

FC Cincinnati 2 leveled the match in the 21st minute, as Gerado Valenzuela intercepted a New York pass and played a ball to Benjamin Stitz, who ripped a shot from outside the box.

Red Bulls II regained the lead four minutes later, as Aiden Jarvis moved the ball to Ronald Donkor, who sent a pass to Ibrahim Kasule, who turned, made a run into the box, and sent a shot in.

New York doubled its advantage in the 40th minute, as Kasule played in a ball off a free kick from the near side of the field that was headed in from the far post by Davi Alexandre. Alexandre's goal was the first of his professional career.
