Not satisfied with signing a Colombian youth international right back, Metro looks to be on the market for a Colombian youth international attacker. 19-year-old Jorge Cabezas Hurtado, who played for his country in this year's Under-20 World Cup, is close to joining Metro, according to Territorio MLS, who says that the "deal is almost done and pending approval from the league". Cabezas Hurtado is on the books of Watford, but has not played for the first team. He has spent the first part of 2023 on loan to Independiente Medellin. He played sparingly for the Colombian club, failing to score.
