New York Red Bulls II drew New England Revolution II, 1-1, and earned the second point in the shootout, 4-3, at Gillette Stadium.
New England opened the match's scoring in the 62nd minute, when Jordan Adebayo-Smith finished a cross to put his side on top.
New York would find the equalizer in stoppage time, when O'Vonte Mullings sent in a shot on a rebound to bring his side level in the 95th minute. Mullings' goal was the second latest in club history
In the shootout that followed, Henry Wise, Dija, Bento Estrela, and Amos Shapiro-Thompson all converted from the spot. Goalkeeper A.J. Marcucci made three saves in the shootout, including one in the final round to clinch the second point in the standings.
