New York Red Bulls II fell to Toronto FC II, 2-1 on Wednesday, August 9 at MSU Soccer Park.
Red Bulls II opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, as Amos Shapiro-Thompson struck from outside the box following a long rebound off a deflection from a shot from Rafael Mosquera.
The visitors equalized in the 87th minute as Dekwon Barrow collected a long pass from Adam Pearlman and slotted it into the net off a partial block. Toronto took the lead late in second half stoppage time, as Jordan Faria played in a cross towards the far post that was headed in by Myles Morgan.
