Flaccid Metro easily held by New England, 1:0

Veronica's dad: "Somebody tell me why I read these damn spy novels."
Veronica: "Because you're an idiot."
There is a quote, often attributed to Albert Einstein, which says: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Since the attribution to Einstein is probably incorrect, we will go with the above exchange from the brilliantly underrated 1989 movie "Heathers".
So who is the idiot here?
Is it Troy Lesesne, who keeps starting Dru Yearwood in attacking midfield and Tom Barlow up front?
Is it Yearwood, who is a turnover machine, with an idiotic pass to nowhere starting the sequence that led to the lone goal of the match?
Is it Barlow, a supposed forward who can not even get a shot on goal?
Is is Luquinhas, who keeps aimlessly dribbling and falling down?
Is it Kyle Duncan, who brings the ball up the flank before stopping and not knowing what to do with it?
Is it Hassan Ndam, who is always out of position and whose best move is to aimlessly boot the ball?
Is it the Metro attack, trying to break through the bunker time and again and failing, failing, failing?
Is it Red Bull? (Yes, it's freaking Red Bull!)
Is it us, watching this debacle week after week?
Veronica's dad: "Oh yeah, that's right."
