New York Red Bulls II defeated Toronto FC II, 3-0 on Friday night at York Lions Stadium.
New York opened the match's scoring in the 23rd minute, when Copeland Berkley whipped in a cross to Mohammed Sofo, who headed the ball home to give his side the lead.
Red Bulls II doubled their lead in the 32nd minute off a rocket of a shot from O'Vonte Mullings after receiving a pass from Ronald Donkor. Just three minutes later, Mulings would record a brace after beating the Toronto goalkeeper on a breakaway created by Ibrahim Kasule.
Red Bulls Academy Goalkeeper Alan Rutkowski recorded his second clean sheet of the season and his career, he made two saves in the match.
New York won their fourth consecutive match, their longest win streak this season and the first time the club has done so since October of 2018. New York has now scored three-plus goals in four consecutive matches for the first time in club history.
