Swede contigent grows with center back Noah Eile

The New York Red Bulls have completed the transfer of Swedish youth international Noah Eile from Malmö FF for an undisclosed transfer fee, the club announced today. The defender signs a four-year MLS contract through 2027 with an option for 2028 as a U-22 Initiative player.
Eile, 21, spent the last two seasons on loan with Mjallby AIF, where he made 52 appearances and recorded one goal and five assists. This past season, he played and started in 24 matches and scored his first professional goal against BK Hacken in a 2-1 victory on October 29. Eile played in 57 professional matches in his career, including 49 in the Allsvenskan, Sweden's top division.
"Noah [Eile] is a promising young defender that we are excited to add to our roster," said Head of Sport Jochen Schneider. "Although Noah is young, he has a lot of experience in Sweden's top division and has the qualities we value in a defender. We cannot wait for him to get started with us."
The Lund, Sweden native signed his first professional contract in December of 2020 with Malmo FF. He made four career appearances for Malmö FF and made his professional debut in a 3-0 win over Degerfors IF on August 21, 2021. Eile won the Allsvenskan with Malmo FF in 2021. Prior to Malmö, Eile started his career with Bjarreds, playing in their youth system.
"We are very happy to sign Noah with our club," said Head Coach Sandro Schwarz. "Noah is talented defender with a great skillset, and we are excited to see him on the pitch at Red Bull Arena this season."
Eile has featured for Sweden's youth national teams over the years with his most recent appearance coming against Finland U-21's for Sweden's U-21 youth national team in a 3-0 victory. Eile has made 24 career appearances for Sweden's youth national teams.
