New York Red Bulls II opened the scoring in the 8th minute of the match when Tanner Rosborough had a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the top right corner. Rosborough scored his sixth goal of the season.
New York added to their lead in the 54th minute, with a header to the top right corner from Mohammed Sofo. Sofo was assisted by Curtis Ofori with a cross.
